Football Recap: Ottawa Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Ottawa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Rochelle Hubs and fell 42-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 64-10 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Ottawa's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Rochelle, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ottawa will face off against Granite City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rochelle, they will challenge Waterloo at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hubs' defense better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 34.6 points per game this season.
