Volleyball Recap: Plainfield South Takes a Loss

Plainfield South lost against St. Charles East back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cougars fell 2-0 to the Fighting Saints. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Papaa Adansi-Ofori paced Plainfield South's offense, picking up six kills. Adansi-Ofori got some help from Alexander Venes and his 12 assists. Lucas Strezo controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Plainfield South now has a losing record of 5-6. As for St. Charles East, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Plainfield South wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Evergreen Park on the 12th. As for St. Charles East, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Hersey on the 12th.
