Baseball Recap: Andrew Jackson Comes Up Short

Andrew Jackson couldn't beat Zephyrhills Christian Academy on Friday even though they stacked six runs on them in the seventh inning. The Tigers fell 9-6 to the Warriors. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Laterrance McKenzie was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and one run. Tyler Strickland also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Andrew Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Zephyrhills Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
