Basketball Game Preview: Clinton-Massie Falcons vs. Georgetown G-Men

The Clinton-Massie Falcons will square off against the Georgetown G-Men at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing isn't great for Clinton-Massie: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Georgetown has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.

Clinton-Massie is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Western Brown on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Clinton-Massie was dealt a 65-16 loss at the hands of Western Brown. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-15.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Georgetown over Bethel-Tate in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Georgetown was the clear victor by a 48-24 margin over Bethel-Tate.

Clinton-Massie's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Georgetown, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Clinton-Massie came up short against Georgetown in their previous matchup back in December of 2018, falling 55-51. Can Clinton-Massie avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
