Baseball Recap: Weeki Wachee Takes a Loss

Weeki Wachee and Pasco squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Weeki Wachee had to settle for second. They came up short against the Pirates, falling 10-1. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Hornets, who until this matchup were averaging 3.37 runs allowed.

Weeki Wachee saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christian Zahora, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Weeki Wachee's defeat dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Pasco, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-7.

As of now, neither Weeki Wachee nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
