Baseball Recap: Acorn Takes a Loss

Acorn fell victim to Hector and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 17-0. The Tigers were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

This is the second loss in a row for Acorn and nudges their season record down to 1-8. As for Hector, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season.

Acorn will be playing at home against Hackett at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hector, they will head out to square off against Sacred Heart at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rebels have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season.
