Basketball Recap: Centralia Takes a Loss

Centralia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They took a hard 58-43 fall against the WF West Bearcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bearcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 75-38 back in January.

Grady L Westlund continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for WF West, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and 23 rebounds. L Westlund also grabbed four steals, which is notable because WF West is 3-1 when he posts at least three steals, but 7-9 otherwise. Weston Potter was another key player, putting up 12 points and five boards.

Centralia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for WF West, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season.

Centralia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for WF West, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-39 victory against Shelton on the 10th.
