Leland came into Saturday's contest looking for another win against San Mateo, but Grant Greenburg wouldn't allow it. The San Mateo Bearcats walked away with a 2-0 win over the Leland Chargers on Saturday with plenty of help from Greenburg, who had 35 assists. Greenburg is crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 20 every time he's taken the court this season.

San Mateo didn't let Leland take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 32-30.

San Mateo's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

San Mateo has already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Redwood on the 8th. As for Leland, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will square off against Westmont at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
