Basketball Preview: Dansville Aggies vs. Saranac Redhawks
Dansville is 8-2 against the Redhawks since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Dansville Aggies' homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Saranac Redhawks at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. Dansville will be strutting in after a win while the Redhawks will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Dansville got the win against the Pilgrims by a conclusive 54-30. Dansville pushed the score to 50-20 by the end of the third, a deficit the Pilgrims cut but never quite recovered from.
Meanwhile, Saranac suffered a rough 68-46 defeat at the hands of the Pirates on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Saranac can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 616th, while the Pirates are ranked 80th).
Dansville has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Saranac, they dropped their record down to 4-11 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
