Volleyball Recap: Brookings Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Pierre T.F. Riggs last Tuesday, Brookings came back down to earth. The Bobcats fell 3-1 to the Yankton Bucks/Gazelles on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Brookings started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-23.

Brookings has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-21 record this season. As for Yankton, they pushed their record up to 11-15 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coming up, Brookings will host Harrisburg at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Yankton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
