Soccer Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Washington was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They fell just short of the Jeffersonville Red Devils by a score of 2-1. Washington have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Victor Hernandez, which was the first he's scored this season.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Jeffersonville, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington will welcome Pike Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Jeffersonville, they will host Eastern at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
