Soccer Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Washington was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They fell just short of the Jeffersonville Red Devils by a score of 2-1. Washington have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Victor Hernandez, which was the first he's scored this season.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Jeffersonville, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Washington wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 6-1 win against Pike Central on the 27th. As for Jeffersonville, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Eastern on the 26th.
