Football Recap: Gerone Samedi's Menacing Defense Leads Pacific over Miller

Pacific lost to Miller back in October of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Pirates put the hurt on the Rebels with a sharp 33-8 victory. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Pirates had established a 20-point advantage.

It was another big night for Ryan Cooper, who threw for 207 yards and three TDs.

Pacific didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Gerone Samedi, Roderick Gilmore, and Trevor Pettigrew picked up one apiece.

Pacific's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Miller, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
