Volleyball Recap: Tri-City Takes a Loss

Tri-City lost against Auburn back in September of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tornadoes fell 2-0 to the Trojans. The Tornadoes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their offense was headlined by Tiffany Farley and Lily Evens, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Gentrie Earles and her seven assists.

Tri-City's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Auburn, they moved to 12-10 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Coming up, Tri-City will take on Warrensburg-Latham at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Auburn, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Lutheran on the 27th.
