Carrollton piles up the points against Bunker Hill

The Carrollton Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 22 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Bunker Hill 66-22 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Carrollton has managed all season.

Carrollton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lauren Flowers out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. The match was Flowers' 18th in a row with at least ten points. Abby Flowers was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Carrollton is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Bunker Hill, they bumped their record down to 2-11 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Carrollton will be playing at home against Staunton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Staunton's defense has only allowed 27 points per game this season, so Carrollton's offense will have their work cut out for Carrollton. As for Bunker Hill, they will head out on the road to face off against East Alton-Wood River at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
