Basketball Recap: Mansfield Summit Makes It 21 in a Row on the Road

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Mansfield Summit walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 65-31 victory over the Polytechnic Parrots. The Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 22 points or more this season.

Mansfield Summit's win was their 21st straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 28-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points over those games. As for Polytechnic, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-18 record this season.

Looking ahead, Mansfield Summit will face off against Argyle on Thursday. Argyle will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Mansfield Summit surely won't give up without a fight. Polytechnic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
