Laguna Creek hadn't done well against Sheldon recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Cardinals came out on top against the Huskies by a score of 21-8. The win was all the more spectacular given the Cardinals' disadvantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 499th, while the Huskies are ranked 125th).

Laguna Creek is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-11 record this season. As for Sheldon, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-2.
