Softball Recap: Westosha Central Has No Trouble Against Waterford

Westosha Central had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Waterford on Tuesday. The Falcons' pitcher stepped up to hand the Wolverines a 9-0 shutout. That looming 9-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Falcons yet this season.

Megan Lampos made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
