Baseball Recap: Sioux Central Comes Up Short

Sioux Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 16-1 to the Spencer Tigers. The Rebels were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in June of 2023.

Sioux Central's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Spencer, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Sioux Central has already played their next match, a 12-9 victory against Sheldon on the 5th. As for Spencer, they will welcome Sergeant Bluff-Luton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
