Page piles up the points against Centennial

Recap: Page Patriots vs. Centennial Cougars

The Page Patriots waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with five straight wins but they left with six. They breezed by Centennial at home to the tune of 63-24. Page has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season.

Mary Fox continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 12 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Espelet, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and four steals.

Page is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Centennial, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Page will take on Summit at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Summit is on a five-game streak of home wins, Page a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Centennial, they will head out on the road to square off against Brentwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brentwood presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Centennial in Tennessee (Brentwood is ranked 15th, while Centennial is ranked 311th).
