Baseball Recap: Kings Takes a Loss

Kings and Edgewood squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Kings had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 6-5.

Kings has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Edgewood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Kings does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Edgewood, they will venture away from home to face off against Anderson at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
