Recap: Kettle Moraine Lasers vs. Oak Creek Knights
The Kettle Moraine Lasers's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 50-43 win over Oak Creek. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Kettle Moraine also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ava Hanson, who scored 13 points. Emma Schmidt was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Kettle Moraine's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.3 points per game. As for Oak Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kettle Moraine will challenge Muskego at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oak Creek, they will head out on the road to face off against Indian Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Indian Trail will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while Oak Creek is ranked 63rd).
