Soccer Recap: Winder-Barrow Comes Up Short

Winder-Barrow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 10-3 to the Stephens County Indians. While losing is never fun, the Bulldoggs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 356th, while the Indians are ranked 164th).

Winder-Barrow's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Stephens County, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-4.

Looking ahead, Winder-Barrow will be playing at home against Habersham Central at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Habersham Central's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last six matchups. As for Stephens County, they are taking a road trip to challenge Hart County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
