The Northeastern Knights will head out on the road to take on the Hagerstown Tigers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Northeastern is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.

Northeastern is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 22 runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Winchester Community on Thursday. They fell just short of the Golden Falcons by a score of 2-1.

Northeastern saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaleb Moore, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Hagerstown came up short against Delta on Wednesday and fell 5-2.

Northeastern's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5. As for Hagerstown, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

Northeastern skirted past Hagerstown 2-1 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
