Football Recap: Nathan Villanueva and Brady Edmunds Secure Win for Huntington Beach

Huntington Beach proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 41) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Redondo Union Sea Hawks 19-17. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Oilers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Sea Hawks are ranked 211th).

Huntington Beach was led to victory by Brady Edmunds and Nathan Villanueva. Edmunds threw for 163 yards on 12 of 18 attempts, while Villanueva rushed for 100 yards.
