Basketball Recap: Southeastern Local Comes Up Short

Southeastern Local lost against Kenton Ridge back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Southeastern Local Trojans took a 65-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kenton Ridge Cougars. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southeastern Local's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Kenton Ridge, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southeastern Local will take on Greeneview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kenton Ridge, they will head out to take on Indian Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Indian Lake knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Kenton Ridge likes a good challenge.
