Bonanza has gone a perfect 3-0 against Amplus Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bonanza Bengals will take on the Amplus Academy Archers at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Bonanza is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Mojave, who was ranked 11th at the time (Bonanza was ranked 21st). Bonanza came up short against Mojave on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Bengals in their meetings with the Rattlers: they've now lost three in a row.

While Bonanza was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-23, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Amplus Academy came up short against Las Vegas on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Las Vegas scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17, 22-25, 25-19.

Amplus Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bonanza, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Bonanza was able to grind out a solid victory over Amplus Academy in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bonanza since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
