The McDonough Rams will head out to take on the Calvert Cavaliers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. McDonough is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.8 goals per game this season.

McDonough proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let Northern get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Give McDonough's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Talyn Catena, who's now up to ten this season.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Calvert made sure to put some goals up on the board against Huntingtown last Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Hurricanes with a sharp 4-0 win. Considering Calvert have won three contests by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory got Calvert back to even at 4-4. As for McDonough, their record is now 8-0.
