Baseball Recap: West Platte Comes Up Short

West Platte blew South Nodaway out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday South Nodaway got their revenge. The Bluejays fell just short of the Longhorns by a score of 2-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Bluejays haven't been shut out since back in March.

West Platte's defeat dropped their record down to 19-4. As for South Nodaway, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-7.

Coming up, West Platte will take on East Buchanan at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Nodaway, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 15-0 victory against Stanberry on the 16th.
