It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but College Park ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the New Caney Eagles. Three seems to be a good number for the Cavaliers as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The victory made it two in a row for College Park and bumps their season record up to 12-10-1. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs across that stretch. As for New Caney, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-17-1.

As of now, neither College Park nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
