Softball Recap: North Marion Huskies vs. Preston Knights
North Marion's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They never let the Preston Knights get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Rayden Satterfield was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Reagan Ash was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Katelynn Straight, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
North Marion's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Preston, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.
