Basketball Recap: Liberty Find Success

Liberty saw some tournament action on Thursday. They snuck past the Carbon Dinos with a 52-48 win.

Carbon lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Bailey Curtis, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddison Ferguson, who posted seven points.

Liberty now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Carbon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Liberty wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 44-37 loss against Pine View on the 13th. As for Carbon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 47-41 defeat against Hunter on the 13th.
