Cedarville let Justice Workman and Jax Cross run wild. Workman scored five runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances, while Cross went a perfect 5-for-5 with four stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs. Workman also put up three RBI, which were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Gabe Gravelle, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-6.

Cedarville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .674. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win made it two in a row for Mansfield and bumps their season record up to 2-5. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Cedarville, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
