Soccer Recap: High Point Christian Academy Takes a Loss

High Point Christian Academy lost against Wesleyan Christian Academy back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cougars lost 9-0 to the Trojans. While losing is never fun, High Point Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 373rd, while Wesleyan Christian Academy are ranked 71st).

High Point Christian Academy has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Wesleyan Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

High Point Christian Academy will challenge Greensboro Day School at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Wesleyan Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
