Volleyball Game Preview: West Holmes Knights vs. Clear Fork Colts

The West Holmes Knights will head out to square off against the Clear Fork Colts at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Holmes is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

West Holmes lost 3-0 to Wooster on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-3, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Clear Fork hadn't done well against Galion recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Colts were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 25-16.

Clear Fork found their leader in freshman Brinly Epneris, who had 22 assists and 11 digs.

Clear Fork was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They are 3-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

West Holmes' loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Clear Fork, their win ended a six-match drought at home and bumped them up to 6-15.

Everything went West Holmes' way against Clear Fork when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as West Holmes made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
