Volleyball Recap: Bradford Prep Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bradford Prep can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cherryville Ironmen on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 17-25, 25-19, 25-23.

Alden Schwartz paced Bradford Prep's offense, picking up 20 kills. Schwartz got some help from Bailey Clark and her 31 assists. Sofia Swicegood and Everly Sierra kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Cherryville can attribute much of their success to Camryn Shirley, who had 11 digs and six assists. That's the most assists Shirley has posted since back in September.

Bradford Prep's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Cherryville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Bradford Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cherryville, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Cornerstone Charter on the 23rd.
