Despite the loss, Bishop Moore got top-tier performance from Marc Francis Callejas, who had 26 digs and two aces. Callejas has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Cole Ferris, who had 11 digs.
Meanwhile, Dreyfoos School of the Arts strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against Santaluces by a score of 3-1.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-16, 22-25, 25-15.
Dreyfoos School of the Arts' win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0. As for Bishop Moore, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-5.
