Volleyball Recap: Virgin Valley Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

Virgin Valley won the last time they faced Cristo Rey St. Viator and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Royals. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Virgin Valley took every set by at least 19 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-1, 25-2, 25-6.

Bryant Denninghoff paced Virgin Valley's offense, picking up nine kills. Denninghoff got some help from Alonzo Roque and his 21 assists. McKay Mulitalo controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Virgin Valley pushed their record up to 22-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Cristo Rey St. Viator, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.
