            Basketball Recap: Howells-Dodge Jaguars vs. Johnson-Brock Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            Howells-Dodge and Johnson-Brock squared off in some playoff action  on Saturday, but Howells-Dodge had to settle for second. They took  a  61-46 bruising from the Eagles. The Jaguars were not able to make up for their  loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting  back in March of 2023.

 Howells-Dodge lost  despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was   Hunter Luther, who  went 5-for-6  en route to 10  points and five  rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to  field goal percentage, as he's  posted one of at least 50% in the last nine games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Carson Heard, who  posted nine points.
 Johnson-Brock got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Camden Dalinghaus out in front who  earned 20  points along with five  boards and three  steals.  Brody Koehler was another key player,  putting up 13 points in addition to five  rebounds and three  blocks.
With the  defeat, Howells-Dodge broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 24-6. As for Johnson-Brock, the  win was  the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 29-1.
As of now, neither Howells-Dodge nor Johnson-Brock have any future games scheduled.
