Basketball Recap: Campbell County Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Campbell County challenged Oak Ridge on Monday. The Campbell County Cougars received a blow as they fell 64-49 to the Oak Ridge Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Wildcats are ranked fourth).

Campbell County has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-8 record this season. The victory (which was Oak Ridge's 16th in a row) raised their record to 26-3.

As of now, neither Campbell County nor Oak Ridge have any future games scheduled.
