Volleyball Recap: Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial Comes Up Short

Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Akiuk Memorial Grizzlies. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss back in October.

While Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23.

Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Akiuk Memorial, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Coming up, Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial will take on Kongiganak at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Akiuk Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
