Softball Recap: Garrett Memorial Christian Drops Season-High Score on Trinity Christian

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Garrett Memorial Christian). Everything went their way against the Trinity Christian Warriors on Monday as Garrett Memorial Christian made off with a 14-4 win. The victory continues a trend for the Saints in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won seven in a row.

Kylie Bullock was incredible, going 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Baylee Pogue, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Garrett Memorial Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .641. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2024.

Garrett Memorial Christian's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-4-1. As for Trinity Christian, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Garrett Memorial Christian will host Arkansas Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Arkansas Christian Academy's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so Garrett Memorial Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Trinity Christian, they will take on Bloomburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
