Football Game Preview: Kewaunee vs. Tomahawk

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Kewaunee. On Friday they take on Tomahawk at 7:00 PM. Kewaunee are coming into the contest hot, having won seven in a row.

Kewaunee simply couldn't be stopped last Friday, as they easily beat Coleman 51-12. Followers of Kewaunee probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected six blowout victories.

Meanwhile, after a dominant win in their game two weeks ago, Tomahawk were humbled. They lost to Rib Lake-Prentice by a decisive 0-20 margin. Tomahawk's low-scoring loss was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the game before.

Kewaunee were fully in charge the last time the two teams met, breezing past Tomahawk 56-13. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kewaunee since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
