Basketball Recap: Chamberlain Find Success

Robinson came into Thursday's contest looking for another win against Chamberlain, but Ellayna Stephens wouldn't allow it. The Chamberlain Storm came out on top against the Robinson Knights by a score of 47-34 on Thursday thanks in part to Stephens, who posted 20 points and four steals. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kenya Hilliard, who had seven points and 15 boards. That's the most rebounds she has posted since back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Robinson saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Annie Keith went 9 of 20 on her way to 20 points along with five boards and five steals. Ava Godfrey was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to six assists and six rebounds.

Chamberlain's victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for Robinson, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-8.

Chamberlain does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Robinson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Brandon on Tuesday.
