Basketball Recap: Little Axe Takes a Loss

Little Axe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 55-20 loss at the hands of the Davis Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, with their most recent defeat being a 67-19 loss back in January.

Little Axe's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Davis, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

Coming up, Little Axe will face off against Lexington at 6:30 p.m. on February 18th. Little Axe is facing Lexington at the right time seeing as Lexington is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Davis will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Marlow at 6:30 p.m. on February 21st.
