Soccer Recap: Astronaut Comes Up Short

Astronaut managed to keep up with New Smyrna Beach until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The War Eagles came up short against the Barracudas, falling 3-0. Astronaut were not able to make up for their defeat to New Smyrna Beach from their previous meeting back in December of 2024.

Astronaut's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for New Smyrna Beach, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Looking ahead, Astronaut will look to takes advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they takes on Merritt Island at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for New Smyrna Beach, they will take on Providence School at 7:20 p.m. on Monday.
