Recap: Daniel Boone Trailblazers vs. Sullivan East Patriots
The Daniel Boone Trailblazers had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They took down Sullivan East 66-50. With that win, Daniel Boone brought their scoring average up to 50.3 points per game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Daniel Boone to victory, but perhaps none more so than Averie Steadman, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenzie Bacon, who scored 10 points along with 5 rebounds.
The victory got Daniel Boone back to even at 3-3. As for Sullivan East, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Daniel Boone will be playing at home against Watauga at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Watauga focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday. As for Sullivan East, they will head out on the road to face off against Union at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
