Volleyball Recap: Brookside Comes Up Short

After flying high against Keystone on Thursday, Brookside came back down to earth. The Cardinals lost 3-0 to the Midview Middies on Saturday. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Middies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-22, 25-16.

Dezirae Thomas was the offensive standout of the match as she had 13 digs.

Brookside dropped their record down to 5-9 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Midview, with the victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-9.

Coming up, Brookside will be playing at home against Clearview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Midview, they will challenge North Ridgeville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
