Big Rapids has gone a perfect 10-0 against Newaygo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cardinals face off against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Big Rapids knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Newaygo likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Big Rapids didn't have quite enough to beat Grant and fell 79-77. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Newaygo earned a 52-40 win over Chippewa Hills on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Newaygo's victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Big Rapids, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6.

Big Rapids took their win against Newaygo when the teams last played last Thursday by a conclusive 75-51. Will Big Rapids repeat their success, or does Newaygo have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
