Passers beware: Skyler Maldonado came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also made eight total tackles, but sadly Denton still had to take a 49-38 loss at the hands of Richland. We hope Friday's contest is the first of many we'll see posted here as the season progresses.

Coming up, Maldonado and Denton will square off against Azle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Maldonado had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their match back in September of 2024 52-14. Does he have what it takes to turn the tables?
